Joys of finding a job in Japan (when you are in Japan)

Looking for a perfect job in Japan can actually be very enjoyable if you know just what to do and where to look.

If you are on a Japanese student visa, you would want to look for a part-time job in Japan.

But you don’t know what you want yet. If you are someone who wants to work just for money and is ready to do jobs that don’t require much speaking, this should be easy (but boring) for you. However, if you are an enthusiastic soul, you will not stop until you find the best job that suits your needs!
Now that’s actually fun! How?

If you have already studied Japanese language (or if not, Learn it now from Nihongomax (online or offline)), you would not find this process very difficult. Since Japanese people are very supportive and helpful for those foreigners who know even the basics of Japanese language.
This is due to the fact they know only Japanese and they are talking to someone who knows at least 2 languages.

I had experienced some unexpected fun things while my jobs search in Japan:

1. I discovered a lot of lovely traveling sites with panoramic views that people go especially in their free time or on a weekend.

2. Since usually my travel expense was compensated by the company who is calling me for the interview (which is a norm in Japan) I got to travel a lot for FREE.

3. I had many Japanese people starting a conversation in Japanese with me. Also, I was equally keen and enthusiastic I made a lot of connections and friends on the way. (For example, I offered my seat to elderly people in Japan which was quite a nice conversation starter with them)

4. This experience of Job hunting taught me so much about the Japanese work culture that I saw a noticeable difference in my Japanese spoken skills.

5. I remember my first part-time job was through a similar connection that I made during my job hunting process. (Also, I earned a Free trip to one of the most famous Karaoke in Japan)

6. So, the next time you start looking for a job, if you are a travel lover like me, you can even explore many places while on Job hunt. The interviewers generally pay your commute fee if the place is too far. For example, if you live in Osaka but you are asked to come for an interview in Kobe, the company will pay the commuting fee.

In fact, when you are in your home country, you get the opportunity to speak Japanese, but that is totally Textbook Japanese. But here in Japan, you get to actually use all the expressions, phrases, and grammar that you have learned with the Japanese people in real conversations!

Look at this as a great learning opportunity. You are in a completely new country, you don’t know the language, that means you have so much to learn. You will make mistakes. A lot of them. But believe me, the lessons that you will learn from this mistake are going to be life-changing and FUN.

And just in case you are too scared, nihongomax.com is here to save you! You can access from any part of the world its wide range of Japanese courses with more than 5000 audios of explanations. Just $10.

Now it’s absolutely true that studying Japanese language will get you a job in Japan. Initially, the Good one, and then the Best one.
