This is the great website i ever utilise for learning japanese language. Just now i completed N3 study from Nihongomax and with the help same webiste i passed N4 level. My question is- Despite of completion all chpaters i am not able to recall and speakk in Japanese language. I need to try hard to recall word and grammar patter during coversation but not abale to recall it and got failed in coversation. I am requesting you please suggest me some smart wat to achieve speaking level. By the way i am working professional and hardly i can take out one to two hours daily. Thank you

Now about your query regarding how to learn to speak Japanese language I would like to explain you that for speaking Japanese you need to speak all the sentences given in the classes in your own loud voice first to make throat and tongue become comfortable in the pronunciation of all the vocabulary and grammar with the correct sentence framing. Now as you proceed with advanced level, make sure your this practice becomes a habit as if a Japanese person is standing in front of you and you speak to him daily for about 30-40 min. You will feel a great improvement and a rapid progress in your speaking skills. Do let me know if I could help you out in this matter.

Mo does not mean "only" it means "also". There is no other use of Mo. Just one thing to note that it is used for big numbers too. (In advance level you will see)

If you have technical background or skills then you can apply for jobs in Japan.
[Disclaimer: it may sound harsh, but in fact, is a bitter reality] N3 is useful for jobs at entry level only. So, unless your experience level is roughly 0~8 years, it would be better to march ahead towards N2. The reason being, any resume without a minimum ( and I repeat >>minimum<<) of N2 is rarely looked at for any experienced level job e.g. requiring management/leadership role. So, I would say N2 is default and most expectation is N1 for any decent position. I have now 7 years experience. In two departments in same company. My student visa application is refused twice due to financial guarantor. What should be my path ? I am almost trying to pass N3. I already tried N3 before but was not successful by a few more passing marks
First thing, considering you already have experience, I would not recommend for student visa (even though I know there are people who consider it as alternate path including for many other countries as well only to get stuck in the finance payback etc. and endup doing some convenience store job to come out of the debts even before starting the future which they really dreamed of). Second thing, I know 7 years is not fresher, but still not at the management level, so in my opinion, pass N3 and apply for jobs requiring individual contribution role (much more respectable and cleaner than the other path above). Third thing, if you can afford, go for N2 and then apply your DREAM jobs (cz remember once you start doing the job, you will be so consumed with your routine, that even 1 hour getting out regularly with free mind to study will be difficult). I am confused at one point. Is it possible to get hired from outside Japan through Online interviews? Because I tried to give some interview few months ago but they were not satisfied with the level of my Japanese speaking ability.. but I learned from these interview many things. My Bachelors is in Chemical engineer and My experience is in Production department as supervisor and a few months ago I am transfered to Quality Control dept as Q.C engineer. My thinking was to apply for jobs with this experience and IELTS 7 as soon as I get N3 passed. How do you see my approach ?

Yes, it is possible. If not possible, they won’t take your online interview. But, you already said the main obstacle during those interviews were Japanese SPEAKING ability. This point will be same whether online/physical/Inside Japan/Outside Japan. So, main point here is to improve on SPEAKING ability. And, you already know any JLPT doesn’t evaluate speaking ability, so even with certification in hand, need to put extra effort on this part. Chem Engg./Prod/QC all are great trades with good scope. Just the language…And about the last question, if you have enough financial resources, don't mind hassle of finding temporary accommodation(typical rent agreement 1-2 years) and time to burn looking for the job while being unemployed(job searching is not 30-40days sure shot endeavour that usually visitor may get), no issue with trying their physically. But, it won’t give employer any advantage as the visa processing will be same. It is advantageous for those who are already there on some work visa, as in those cases onboarding process may be little relaxed. Physical interviews for few may actually become more challenging as your body language will also (not only speaking/listening) come into play which gets hidden in case of online interviews (where you control your camera outlook and can also request to repeat questions blaming to the internet traffic ^^). You may also consider that interview location may be different cities and you may still prefer to take online interviews while being already in Japan, just because you didn’t want to travel 500km just to take interviews. Well, there is no one size fits all, consider your preferences, situation etc. and move forward!

My two cents: (1) you did great to follow the structure as in your previous sentence..just little bit adjustment though, and you are good : たべるをやめなさい (2) PLEASE stay away 1000km from hideously deep labyrinth of GRAMMAR at the learning stage (as Ravi sir has stressed quite a no. of times). None of these rules are going to help when we really need it as a learner. Ofcourse, it’s not useless but its use and real meaning will be helpful when we are no more learner, possibly doing linguistics analysis etc.. Let’s keep ourselves as a 4-5 year old kid who has no idea of what a GRAMMAR is and yet can communicate freely. Things come out way faster from our memory, rather than going through the logic processing of our brain ^^. It will definitely not help in exams where we have merely few seconds and stress etc. too.

@Nitin, the website seems to be working fine, just the warning message is being shown. That\'s the precautionary warning message from the browser, usually in case of expired SSL certificate. As a workaround, for the time being, you can ignore it (as we obviously know our website)and manually proceed by accepting it OR you can try to change your system date to previous day e.g. 24Jan (as it expired yesterday it seems).

Thanks. I was just thinking like, simple rule for past tense is [desu] -> [deshita], so if already ~desu is in the end, then no need to pressure brain to think whether there is adjective before it or not, so, was thinking iike [totemo tanoshii desu] -> [totemo tanoshii deshita], but seems I am wrong in assuming that. But again, its little strange that past tense also ends with ~desu [totemo tanoshikatta desu]

for vocabulary, you must read all sentences of grammar patterns, kanji sentences, dokkai, and even chokkai words... together they cover more than N3 vocabulary. I also thought that it was not enough or maybe I should read other books for vocabs, but believe me, it is more than enough for N3. just read every sentence (grammar/ dokkai/ chokkai/ kanji sentence) 5-6 times.

You can start now. There is no age to start learning Japanese and JLPT. And by the time you complete N3 or N2 you can be ahead of many who start looking for Jobs in Japan in their late twenties

Te arimas is simply "Already Done". Te okimas means I will do it definitely in case its not done. If you are still confused, forget the difference and keep moving further. This gets clear in higher levels when you get familiar with the help of examples

Thats an important experience that I dont talk about much (I never did actually) But yes you are right when we study N3 it is not as much as difficultly level we faced studying N4. Even I would say something controversial - Some patterns of N4 should actually be in N3. Anyways - Lets not think unnecessary... What we can do in this case of JLPT design
